About Our Pastor

Dr. Donald O'Neil Tyler, Sr.

Dr. Donald O'Neil Tyler is the Pastor of Greater Grace Temple, Tulsa, Oklahoma. He received his call to the ministry on 1979 while under the pastorate of Bishop Jeremiah Reed. He was licensed and in 1987 was ordained with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. Dr. Tyler received his Doctor of Divinity from the Pentecostal Bible College in Tuskegee, Alabama. In addition, he studied Industrial/Civil Engineering at the University of Nebraska.

Outside of the ministry, Dr. Tyler's career with United Parcel Service afforded him many opportunities and business training. In 1995, he founded the Apostolic Church of God in Columbia South Carolina. Dr. Tyler later relocated to California where he and his family worshiped at the Greater Zion Apostolic Church in Santa Ana, California under the leadership of Dr. Morris Dulaney.

Dr. Tyler became pastor of Grace Apostolic Temple of Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 2, 1998. In 2000, he was elevated to the office of District Elder, and in 2001, he was elevated to the office of Suffragan Bishop in the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc.

After 4-years of pasturing in 2003 the vision came to pass. Greater Grace Temple is now a reality located at 1010 East 56th Street North which has a 1800 seating capacity. After numerous battles, it was officially completed on, February 14, 2003.

Dr. Tyler is a visionary, implementing programs, which encompass the total family through spiritual growth training and providing financial management as well.

“Innovative” is the best way to describe the ministry and the man. As a shepherd to hundreds, he is daily pouring out a vision for the people. In partnership with our community resources, he is diligently pursuing God's plan for His people. Dr. Tyler brings the message of God's love to an audience of millions through the TV Broadcast that is aired each week, once on Saturday and twice on Sunday morning. He is married to First Lady Marcia A Tyler, and is the proud father of two sons, Donald (Nikki), II and Aaron (Christian). He is the proud grandfather of three.
